You know the Oscar’s whereeee this last…. Monday (I think hahhaa btw i have a very bad memory so I’m not sure xdd -.-) I gotta say that I know it’s been a long time since the last film of Hp (not so much time but you know (: ) but I think Harry Potter had to win an Oscar, at least one! I’m indignated for the Oscar’s of 2012! Written by J. K. Rowling in 2001 under the pseudonym of Newt Scamander, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is an guide to all the magicalcreatures in the Harry potter series made for a Comic Relief event.

The book is based on a textbook purchased by Harry Potter in his first year at Hogwarts. The book describes 75 different magical species found throughout the Wizarding World as well as the history of Magizoology. The contents of the book as well as an explanation of each section are as follows;
- About the Author- Information describing the life and history of author, Newt Scamander
- Foreword by Albus Dumbledore- A foreword by Albus Dumbledore explaining the purpose of the book
- Introduction by Newt Scamander- Explaining the reasons behind writing this book
- About This Book- An introduction of what the book is all about
- What Is a Beast?- An exact definition of what classifies as a beast
- A Brief History of Muggle Awareness of Fantastic Beasts- History behind the view of a Muggle on the beasts
- Magical Beasts in Hiding- Information on the beasts which are currently in hiding
- Why Magizoology Matters- Information regarding the importance of Magizoology
- Ministry of Magic Classifications- Danger classifications from the Ministry of Magic
- An A-Z of Fantastic Beasts- A list of all the known beasts in the Wizarding World
- The book also contains several ‘scribblings’ by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, making notes on certain things.

JK Rowling’s Interviews about the Book
“When Comic Relief asked me to write something I thought I would just love to write the two books,” Ms Rowling told the BBC. “I have always supported Comic Relief… I did two because I had two in my head and I couldn’t really decide between Quidditch and Fantastic Beasts, so I decided to do them both.”
The Tales of Beedle the Bard
J. K. Rowling gave seven hand-written copies of ‘The Tales of Beedle the Bard’ to people important to the Harry Potter book series success in 2007. A copy was also sold at auction and bought by Amazon.com, who subsequently released summaries of the tales. On December 4, 2008 the book was released to to the general public including notes written by Albus Dumbledore.
In 2010, wizard wrock band The Butterbeer Experience (also known as Lena Gabrielle) produced a wrock opera based on the Fountain of Fair Fortune which was performed for the first time at LeakyCon 2009. She also released an album, “Songs from Beedle the Bard”, which has a song for each tale of the book.

I like Luna, Sirius, Albus, even severus and Malfoy's family, I think Belatrix is just very funny,kind of crazy, but very funny at the same time! I love Harry obviously, and I love Ron! Hey Emma! Yay, a new post! I remember one of my favorite aspects of “Fantastic Beasts” and “Quidditch Through the Ages” were the funny scribbles written by Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the margins. I might like “Fantastic Beasts” the best because a lot of the information there was actually pretty relevant to key parts of the book, like the Erumpent horn in Book 7 and the Basilisk in Book 2. So it was both interesting and funny. 🙂 It would be cool if JK Rowling decides to do more books like this, like maybe “Hogwarts, A History” or “A History of Magic.”
Hahahaha yeeepaaa a new post ❤ I think it was funnier “Quidditch Through the Ages” to read, but I think “Fantastic Beasts” was more interesting because I read a lot of fantastic creatures that I've heard in the movies/books but I didn't really knew how to describe /explain them. ❤ I really loved too that Ron, Hermione, and Harry wrote some funny scribbes in “Fantastic Beasts” too, I think I saw one that said something about Hagrid and his Buckbeak the Hippogrif hahaha 🙂 They are pretty funny books and I hope J.K Rowling would have done other books and she to be planning on publishing the books:) I also loved The Tales of Beedle the Bard
it's an interestung book and it has a very similar design from the one showed in the books. Of that book I also love Dumbledore's clearances in the end of every tale! You should read that book it's awesome too:) Lots of love, Amy ❤
I read Beedle the Bard as well (it’s been a while though). I remember liking the stories well enough, but since they’re just short little children’s tales, they didn’t interest me as much as the main books or the informational books like Fantastic Beasts. My favorite is definitely the Deathly Hallows story, and I remember liking the Fountain of Fair Fortune story. It was also cool to see JK Rowling’s own illustrations for the stories, and hear about how she had hand-written and hand-drawn seven special copies — how awesome it would be to have one! 😮
Omg it would be awesome to have one of this storieeees!!! Obviously It would be sooo much expensive or even imposible to buy!! 🙂 I think Beedle the Bard It’s kind of childhood stories but I liked that, because of the unknowed stories that you’ve heard but you didn’t know like “Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump” ❤ Sometimes it's kind of funny to read little children's tales, and more if it's about harry potter ❤ Loveeeee:)
