Bonnie Wright reveals upcoming projects include directing

It’s London’s Fashion Week, and one of the stars from the Harry Potter series that is in attendance is Bonnie Wright.During an interview at the event, Bonnie revealed some of her upcoming projects:

“I shot a film a month ago that should be coming out next summer, The Philosophers, it’s an American independent film. And then I’m directing a film and also acting in another one in January. It’s a period piece set in the 1800’s so that will be fun. That one’s called Want of a Wife, it’s a British film.”

Want of a Wife, will be shot from the man’s perspective and a sideways look at Pride and Prejudice, the classical novel by Jane Austen.

Quidditch World Cup, November 12 and 13 in NYC:

The International Quidditch Association is gearing up for the 5th annual Quidditch World Cup on November 12 and 13, 2011 in Randall’s Island, New York City.

Get Ready for the 2011

The event will take place across 10 fields with 100 teams represented and 2,000 athletes taking part.A special video was released by the IQA showing some extraordinary footage from past World Cups to get fans excited for the event. Watch it below!

Brought you live coverage from the O2 arena in London where Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter presentation was held as part of Empire BIG SCREEN.Present at the event were Warwick Davis (Flitwick/Griphook) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) who announced that tickets for the Studio Tour will go on sale October 13, 2011. Tickets will be priced at £28 for adults and £21 for children. Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter is still on track to open Spring 2012. A new concept art of the entrance to the Studio Tour was also released !

The trailer that was shown yesterday for the Warner Bros Studio Tour- Making of Harry Potterevent at the O2 Arena is now available to watch online.The Trailer features some close-up shots of the sets such as the Great Hall, Ministry of Magic, and Dumbledore’s office along with some new behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger).

Director Guillermo del Toro Says Emma Watson is “Perfect” for “Beauty and the Beast” Remake:

In a new interview with MTV, director Guillermo del Toro discusses his hopes to cast Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) for the lead role in his retelling of “Beauty and the Beast.” Del Toro is now in the process of writing the story for the film, and that process may take years. 

 I hope you Emma was the new Bella! She’s perfect!

“Deathly Hallows: Part 2” DVD and Blu-ray Release November 11?

Reports have been making their way online stating that November 11, 2011 will be the release date for the US “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” DVD and Blu-ray editions.  Blu-ray.com reports that multiple editions are set for release on this date, including a four disc combo pack, two disc Blu-ray, and Blu-ray 3D disc copy of the film.  Word on any special features the editions may have has not been released, but, interestingly enough, November 11th is also the date when Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is scheduled to start their “Celebration of Harry Potter Films” at the park.
